[ She hasn't. Alan is already moving back to his little tiny coffee station--very important--and pouring two cups straight from his Oh Deer Diner thermos. ]
No, it would not. Especially because...our worlds are so different.
[She watched Alan fix the coffee, taking a deep breath. It always smelt amazing.]
All life comes from the Lifestream on Gaia. And all of the memories from every single living thing is stored in it too. You can think of it like...a global river. Most of it runs underground, all over the planet.
[ Gaia. Lifestream. Alan can very easily picture the cultish, hippie pamphlets being passed around the grimy subways of New York city. He hands her a cup--any cream and sugar just the way she likes--and grabs the chair behind his desk, picking it up and moving it closer so they can talk. He sets it down, still keeping busy, moving a second time to his desk where he'd left his bag. ]
It sounds beautiful. That why you're into flowers?
[ Alan grabs both his mug and a few books from his bag, handing them over to Aerith wordlessly as he continues their conversation. Aerith is now the proud borrow-er of The Wizard of Oz, Alice in Wonderland, and the Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe. ]
I never appreciated them until now. But--the lifestream?
[Aerith looked at the books, and smiled, her fingers going over the cover of the Wizard of Oz. This was the Glinda book.]
Must be my mysterious influence.
But- back to the Lifestream. There's memories, even souls of everyone who has died. And...well, most of the time, it's just kind of hanging out, from what I get. But there was someone who...somehow was able to recreate themselves after they died, and made three versions of themselves to find something.
I've heard they were called remnants. And two of the three are here now.

[She moved to sit, settling into the chair. She wanted to ask about the music, but that's later.]
I mean, I feel like I should, and explain a few things.
So...you should know there's someone here named Sephiroth. And...he did something in my future in the Lifestream.
Have I...told you about the Lifestream? Just to check.

Any questions so far?

no subject
Maybe? I love flowers mostly because they're pretty.
[She smiles.]
They're just...a beautiful thing.

His frown deepens. ]
Someone experimenting? Is Cloud or Vincent one?
no subject
Vincent was a Turk- I recognize all the training. He's now...something else.
...well, Sephiroth out and out said it. He's the one who made them. The Remnants. Their names are Kadaj and Yazoo.

[ Alan shoots Aerith a look, incredulous. ]

You're right. More important things, it's just...
[ Wow. Yazoo. Sounds like a Flintstones character. ]
